ECA has developed a list of recommended kits from commercial publishers, by grade level, that effectively meets your state's science objectives. Before going through the process of updating or realigning your school district's elementary (and secondary) science objectives, we strongly recommend that you ask about our recommended kit titles for your state. This will help your curriculum committee with the realignment process. Often, subscribing school districts will send a curriculum planning team to ECA's warehouse to review publishers' teacher guides and kits with ECA's curriculum staff before finalizing their kit selections.
Every spring, your school district renews its subscription for the upcoming year. If your school district wants to substitute kit titles, they can do it at this time.
